What a lovely Sunday it’s been…well, a lovely weekend really!
Friends came to visit, the sun was out, there was an owl display and my friend got to hold one for a mere 30p donation (it was all we could find!), we ate pizza and drank coke, and we went for a paddle in the sea. It really felt like being on holiday. I stupidly didn’t put on a bikini and couldn’t go for a dip, but we went this morning instead. What a way to start the day!
I spent a few hours after the swim sewing, and managed to complete a new cushion cover.
In the background are my first, slightly baggy, attempts at cushion covers. Lots of lovely foxes there as you can see.
Next up, I’m going to buy some reds & blues so I can make some more nautical and festive themed home ware. Hurray!
